Terms & conditions
Registration:
Registering for one of our tours implies acceptance of all the terms and
conditions described below. The registration form we will send you must
be correctly completed and signed by the participant(s). The document
must be returned to us with a deposit of 50% of the total cost of the trip.
The remaining 50% must be paid before the start of the trip.
Full payment may be requested if the time between booking and the start
of the trip is very short.
Cancellation conditions:
Cancellation by the participant:
In the event of cancellation 2 months or more before the departure date,
the amount reimbursed will be equal to the total amount less a lump sum
of €50 per person. In the event of cancellation less than 2 months prior to
departure, the following rates will apply:
- Cancellation between 59 and 40 days before departure: half the deposit
will be retained.
- Cancellation less than 40 days before departure: the full deposit will be
retained.
No refund will be made for any trip cut short or interrupted by the
participant for personal reasons.
Cancellation by Wind of Mongolia:
Wind of Mongolia reserves the right to cancel a trip if it cannot be made due
to force majeure (war, political unrest, strikes, acts of terrorism or health
situation...). In this case, Wind of Mongolia will reimburse the participant for
the entire deposit paid.
Commitment of the traveler:
* Each participant must comply with all police, health and other formalities
required in the country at all times during the trip. The participant is
responsible for all departure formalities (visa, private insurance)
and customs formalities (personalized) for the export of carpets, jewelry or
other items, if necessary.
* If the participant fails to comply with the regulations, is unable to produce
the required supporting documents, or is delayed through his or her own
fault, he or she is responsible for any expenses incurred.
* In the event of unexpected events or urgent circumstances involving the
safety of participants (broken bridges, impassable roads, epidemics, etc.)
Wind of Mongolia reserves the right to change the dates, times or itinerary of
the trip; in this case, the participant cannot claim compensation (refund).

* Each participant must respect local regulations and follow the advice
given by the group leader.
* Any behavior or recklessness on the part of the participant that may lead to
incidents, accidents or physical injury will be the responsibility of the latter.
* We strongly recommend that you keep your insurance policy number
and the insurance company's telephone number with you.
* We also ask you to give us the telephone number of a person to contact
in the event of a problem.
* The traveler undertakes not to damage the environment, to respect the
lifestyle of the nomadic families encountered and not to disturb their privacy.
* In general, it is forbidden to buy and bring back plants or objects
containing plants, and it is totally forbidden to bring back objects
containing parts of animals, furs, bones or horns, with the exception of
certain articles bought in a few stores that can provide proof. The same
applies to all objects that are or may appear to be antique. The traveler
undertakes to comply with these regulations or any other
recommendations made by the guide-translator, and to ask the latter if
necessary to identify an object that may not be permitted for export.
Wind of Mongolia commitment:
* The agency undertakes to ensure that the trip in Mongolia is faithful to the
content of the trip sold.
* In the event of changes to the program, the agency undertakes to give all
details and reasons justifying these changes and to discuss them with the
traveler in real time.
* A travel diary will be made available to the traveler to provide him with the
minimum information necessary to optimize his stay.
* The agency undertakes to provide travelers with all the information they
need to support local communities during their stay in Mongolia and, if
necessary, after their return - donations to non-profit organizations,
purchase of responsibly-produced souvenirs, etc.
* A comment form will be provided at the end of the trip, so that travelers
can share their opinions and remarks about the trip.
* The traveler will also have the opportunity to lodge a complaint if the trip
did not go as initially planned, or if certain criteria were not met. We
undertake to respond within a maximum of 2 weeks, providing all necessary
information and explanations. If there is a real breach of our commitments,
we will consider a partial refund or commercial gesture.
* All comments will be taken into account in order to improve future
services, and all complaints will be treated with the utmost seriousness.
Personal data and confidentiality:
As part of the processing of your travel file, we may ask you for personal
data, such as passport number, telephone number, date of birth, address,
etc. We assure you that
this data will remain confidential, that it will not be archived and will not
be used by us, nor transmitted to a third party.
The e-mail address through which we have communicated may be
archived in our customer list and used solely for sending newsletters,
unless you specify, in the feedback form that we will give you at the end
of your stay, that you do not wish to be contacted by our agency in the
future; in this case, we will also delete this data.
Insurance:
Before departure, each participant must take out personal insurance (loss
of luggage, illness, repatriation, emergency evacuation), probably linked to
the visa card, or individual insurance and, if necessary, specific insurance.
If necessary, we can arrange local insurance if your contract does not
include it.
