Solidarity Journey in the Heart of the Steppes.

An immersive journey through Arkhangay and Ovorkhangay, two provinces that form the heart of Mongolia.

Mongolia, with its lush steppes dotted with yurts of nomadic camps, where herds of yaks, horses, and sheep graze. It’s a land where the imagination wanders to the land of the blue sky.

We offer you a genuine immersion into the land of Mongolian nomads. Accompanied by your guide/translator, you will discover three different sites in the Khangay massif in the center of the country: the famous White Lake, the renowned Orkhon Valley, the ancient capital of the Mongol Empire, Kharkhorin, and conclude with a camel riding experience in the Little Gobi.

But the aspect of solidarity is also at the heart of this stay. We will take you to meet several groups of women and nomadic herders who have joined forces to create small workshops for felt and cashmere production located in Kharkhorin and Tsetserleg, preserving ancestral know-how and supporting the local economy.

You will meet the herders and visit these workshops, and of course, purchase items from their production.

We will also offer you the opportunity to make a symbolic donation to help them continue their sustainable production and pasture management efforts.

Next, in Bat-Ulzii, you will meet another group involved in traditional yurt-making. You will see this heritage and craftsmanship passed down through generations and witness several stages of yurt construction, from the posts and walls assembled with camel tendons to the decoration of doors and other parts of the yurt by women.

You will also be invited to support their fair and sustainable approach with a donation according to your preference.
