Our Objectives
Discover Mongolia Differently
First of all, Wind of Mongolia invites you to explore the country throughout the year, offering tailor made itineraries
for each season.

Mongolia fascinates many travelers with its promise of escape, adventure, and memorable encounters. In summer, the country is filled with visitors eager to immerse themselves in almost pristine nature, experience the nomadic lifestyle, and travel differently, whether by jeep or on horseback.
Still somewhat off the beaten trails, Mongolia is ideal for those seeking journeys beyond the ordinary.
Despite its vastness, many agencies stick to the "classic" routes, focusing on the south/north axis: the Gobi Desert in the south, the central steppes, and the Khuvsgul Lake region in the north, where most tourist accommodations are found.
To stand out, Wind of Mongolia creates highly distinctive and immersive circuits. We place the unique treasures of Mongolia at the heart of your journeys, embracing the vast landscapes, nomadic lifestyle, ethnic groups adhering to their tradition and seasonal migrations to craft unique adventures. Experience Mongolia in its truest way, all year round.
Forget about hotels, yurt camps, and popular sites: Wind of Mongolia redefines tourism, offering a complete immersion into the country’s ancestral culture and grand landscapes.

In Summer
Explore Mongolia with both classic and off-the-beaten-path itineraries, as well as unique experiences outside the high season.
In Autumn, During Festivals
After summer, as visitors leave, the steppe returns to its serene state. Nomadic activities slow down, and travelers find more opportunities for genuine interaction. Autumn’s cooling temperatures enhance the beauty of the season’s light, making it a perfect time for exploration. Wind of Mongolia offers autumn circuits that include festivals, such as the eagle festival in Bayan Ulgii in late September, featuring competitions among Kazakh eagle hunters, and the 10,000 Horses Festival in Khentii in November, celebrating this iconic Mongolian animal.

In Winter, for more intense experiences
Winter reveals a different side of Mongolia, far from the touristy summer atmosphere and much more authentic. This season is ideal for those unafraid of cold and “extreme” conditions. Experience genuine adventures: enjoy interactions away from tourist camps and complete immersion in the stunning, icy expanses. Winter showcases Mongolia’s nickname, "the land of the eternal blue sky," with its sublime light and often clear skies. Wind of Mongolia offers extraordinary winter circuits, including snowy sand dunes, camel treks, sledding expeditions, and frozen rivers. It’s also a good time to meet local ethnic groups, such as the Kazakhs in the west who practice eagle hunting, or the Tsaatan reindeer herders in the north, and join them in their winter routines.

In Spring, The Season of Flowers and Newborns
Spring brings milder temperatures, though the weather can still be quite variable. As the snow cover melts, landscapes green up and flowers bloom. It’s also the season of births: animals give birth from late March onwards. Travelers visiting Mongolia in spring can witness young animals frolicking in the steppe. This is an ideal time for a custom itinerary with Wind of Mongolia, as nomads are less busy and enjoy meeting visitors. They relish leaving behind the harsh winter and welcome the new births as the future of their herds.

Unique and Customized Circuits
Wind of Mongolia designs tailor-made journeys, allowing you to personalize your trip according to your desires and explore remote areas during times less frequented by most tourists.
